Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is a renowned American actor. Melina Kanakaredes is best known as the Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's drama Providence. Her work also garnered acclaim due to her first television role in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light. Some of her notable films includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According sources, she's working on a project with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides. They created Immortals for an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. They are also shooting an upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.
