Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American Actress. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat group with actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986), and WarGames. In recognition of her role on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for more than 20 years. In the early 80s, she made her debut in film with the crime thriller film Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. Rick Rosenthal's film also starred Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to appear in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. Though the budget was only $1 million its earnings crossed the mark of $50 million. She also began appearing on a number of television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. The show was for teens that began to air in April of 1980. Other shows on TV she was in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring a superhero where she is an appearance. Sheedy is known for her amazing performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's Gold Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
